Does your young girl love using computers, tablets, art, coding, games and solving problems? Do you want to help her succeed in STEM and want some support?
Our free forums are a safe online space for girls aged 8+ to learn and talk about all things tech. They’ll learn and share tech skills, meet other awesome girls interested in technology and make new friends.
The forums are open every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6PM (AEST) and are safely monitored by Girl Geek Academy staff. All you need is a computer, tablet (or some other way to type online) and an internet connection – no prior knowledge needed!
When you sign up, we need the details listed so we can not only determine you are who you say you are, but so we can keep your child as safe as possible while on the forums. We will not share your details.

Want to learn fun new tech things with other Girl Geeks? The Girl Geek Academy workshops are designed for you!
Our online classes for Girl Geeks ages 8+ are hosted by our skilled Girl Geek Academy team leaders, and are a great way to learn new tech skills. Did we mention, they’re completely free?
We’ll cover a range of tech skills and interests, ranging from learning new ways to learn coding, building your own fun games, art and so much more.
This environment has been created as a safe space for girls to connect with each other and learn together, supported by an experienced team as they learn and grow. The facilitator will use a camera, but the participants will not – everything will be done over chat. It’s super fun and emoji are very welcome!
