Learn

Geek Girl Academy LearnWhen you attend our workshops, weekends, hackathons and makerfests you join a community of talented women with technology skills. Each month we explore a different theme from pitching to HTML to Startup Finance and so much more. The best way to stay in touch is to sign up for our newsletter, follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Workshops

Do you love learning with others in a fun environment? We run engaging, fast-paced 2 hour sessions where you will learn something new and meet other women interested in technology. This helps you learn a new skill and meet others who can help you continue to learn beyond the workshop. Each month we all learn a new theme together across the globe.

Intensive Weekends

It’s fun to get together for a weekend, eat delicious food, practice yoga and hang out with friends while learning a new skill. We run intensive weekends on Go, a programming language created by Google. Our Go Getaway is aimed at beginners who are new to programming and Go. The weekends give you the opportunity to learn how to code.

Making stuff is fun and we love the makerscene. Are you interested in learning how to program robots and Arduinos? Perhaps you want to learn more about 3D printing and how it can be used to help you achieve your own goals. Every year we run She Makes, a makerfest by women for women.
